Differentiation Daily

DifferentiationDaily.com was brought to my attention last week by its creator, Paula Kluth, and her team. It's a potpourri of posts that provide quick descriptions of websites that teachers can add to their arsenal of teaching tools and strategies.

My browsing brought me to this post about readability.com. As Paula puts it, "This tool allows the reader to see a clean view of any article without ads, extra visuals, or other writing. The user can change background colors and the size of print as well (this feature will obviously be very helpful for students with low vision)." Note: There are free and paid versions from which to choose.

Who says this is just for students? Why should students get all the fun stuff!? I've been using readability.com for a week now. I read practically everything online and this cleans up the page perfectly. I think this is a great idea for students (or teachers) who are easily distracted by busy web pages.

But I won't digress, let's get back to DifferentiatedDaily.com. It's worth a look. Bookmark it today, subscribe via email, or add it to your RSS feed. Enjoy!
