On November 11, they will be marching in the Veterans Day Parade alongside 30,000 current military and veterans in the largest and longest-running parade of its type. "America's Parade" will be in front of a national television audience in addition to over 500,000 people throughout the parade route. The students will be performing a rousing arrangement of "Battle Hymn." On November 12, the students will be performing a patriotic concert with the other Bands to honor the First Responders from 9-11. The Band of Pride Tribute Concert will take place in Times Square with an estimated crowd in excess of a half million people. The students and their parents have been fundraising continuously since last September and are within $10,000 of their overall goal of $100,000. If you would like to make a donation to the Band, you can go to any Banner Bank branch and make a donation to "The West Valley High School Band." Banner Bank is matching up to $3,000! Congratulations to Mr. Loucks and his students! Have wonderful trip!
