Brad Patzer, 2003 Milken Educator, a supervision manager with Idaho Digital Learning Academy and member of the NWPE board of directors, helped present the award at a surprise assembly on Friday, December 13th, along with Dr. Jane Foley of the Milken Family Foundation, Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna, Lakeland School District Superintendent Mary Ann Ranells, Senator John Goedde, and Michael Nelson (2005 Milken Educator). The award comes with a $25,000 cash prize. See more here and here. NWPE board of directors member Mikki Nuckols was the 2007 Milken Educator for the state of Idaho.
