A new member of NWPE, Ms. Morrison appreciates that professional development, students, and teachers are the heart of NWPE and its mission to advance to professionalism of educators. We appreciate Ms. Morrison’s dedication to making learning meaningful and her personal growth as an educator! Congratulations!

Ms. Morrison’s students will participate in a service learning project that involves students as active participants in creating an art gallery at the school. Ms. Morrison notes, “The students will be artists who learn about creating, advertising, and selling their work. Students will paint canvases, make short public service announcements about a charity and create invitations and artists’ statements about their work. The end product will be student created artwork that will be auctioned off to family and community members. The money made from the art auction will be donated to Canvas Cures (an organization that raises money for family emergency funds for families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House).”
