Top 5 Teacher Resources for April

Magic Whiteboard – This is a great little product that allows you to add a whiteboard to any hard surface.  It’s thin and flexible like paper, and we’ve heard reports of teachers who have used them for projects, group work, and bulletin boards.  It’s also great for when you don’t want to erase what you put on the whiteboard, like instructions or homework assignments.

Socrative
– This versatile little app works on a wide variety of platforms.  It increases student engagement and allows teachers to quickly and easily gauge student comprehension.

WDWDT
– What Did We Do Today is another app that’s worth checking out.  This app helps to ease communication between parents and teachers.  Unlike Socrative, it’s only currently available on iOS.

89 Cool Apps from Cool Cat Teacher Blog
– If neither of these apps interest you, Vicki Davis at Cool Cat Teacher Blog published a list of 89 resources she recommends, including many other apps.

Beverly Cleary’s Resource Page
- This month is school library month and so it seemed only natural that we’d include a literature related resource.  Beverly Cleary’s educator page has a ton of resources for her book as well as DEAR resources.
