The first webinar is the one I'm most excited about. By now, most teachers have heard of the concept of flipping the classroom, but may not be sure how to implement it in their schools. The Flipped Classroom, held next Wednesday, Sept 19th, 12:00 pm ET will instruct teachers on how they can implement this innovative concept.

Next, Smart Brief is holding a webinar on Tuesday September 25th, at 11:00 am PT on reading intervention. This webinar will look at why students struggle with reading and will examine how teachers can use the varied practice approach in order to improve reading skills.

The Council for Exceptional Children is starting a webinar series about co-teaching. The first in the Leading the Co-Teaching Dance series will be on Tuesday, October 2 at 4:00 pm ET with other sessions being held on October 9th and November 3rd. The first in the series, called Preparing for Co-teaching will define what co-teaching is and how collaboration in this environment can be encouraged. This event requires a registration fee of $89.00 if you are a member of CEC, or $114.00 if you are not a member.

Sopris is an education company that offers free webinars focusing on using data-driven methods to improve instruction. Their fall series has several valuable entries including several webinars to help teachers implement the common core and writing skills. The Sept 27 webinar, Using Data to Inform Instruction, is a topic that can help all teachers, no matter their grade and subject level, improve.
