Castleford Idaho Teacher Wins NWPE New Classroom Start Up Grant

Northwest Professional Educators (NWPE) has awarded Mr. Scott Westermann, a high school math and science teacher in Castleford Schools, with a New Classroom Start-Up Grant for $250 to purchase student kits and lab supplies for physical science classes.  Mr. Andy Wiseman, Castleford Schools Superintendent, presented the award to Mr. Westermann at a staff meeting on Monday, February 25.

Mr. Westermann states, "The materials purchased with this grant will enhance student achievement for my students whose primary learning mode is kinesthetic." 

 

“Setting up a new classroom can be expensive and frustrating for the teacher.  Northwest Professional Educators is happy to provide New Classroom Start-Up grants to support educators like Mr. Westerman who want to provide the best educational program possible,” commented Cindy Omlin, Executive Director of Northwest Professional Educators.
